Our fantastic client based in the heart of Cheltenham are recruiting a Travel Operations Administrator to join their small but friendly team on a permanent basis.

The client specializes in self-guided hiking and cycling tours in the UK, Ireland and Europe and their clients return regularly as they are experts in putting together great tours and use their knowledge to provide meaningful travel experiences

Due to the nature of the business the working hours will vary slightly due to the peak in season. From April to October the hours will be Monday
- Friday 9am-5.30pm, however during this time there will be an expectation that if there are any issues with tours that need to be dealt with outside main office hours, therefore applicants must be comfortable with this and an office mobile phone will be shared on a rot basis where clients can contact out of hours.

Outside of the main season (November to March) the working week will be 4 days per week with the option of flexible working hours depending on the workload.

**Responsibilities/Duties;**
- Liaise with suppliers and partner companies and potential customers
- Book and confirm relevant accommodation for the holidays along with transfers etc. as needed for the individual holiday ensuring that the holidays are booked within budget.
- Entering holidays on to the booking system, sending confirmations and invoices.
- Preparation and postage of route note packs, maps, tickets, and any other necessary materials that need to be sent for clients.
- Organise luggage transfers for all tours where necessary or other transfers such as ferry tickets, train tickets or private car transfers.
- Manage the inventory of necessary maps and books.
- Solve issues that may occur with the logistics of tours during the season
- Occasional driving to meet clients or deliver information to guests.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with a strong ability to multi-task
- A strong telephone manner and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Full UK/EU driving licence
- Ability to manage your own time and remain calm under pressure
- Passion for travel is desirable
- Previous experience within administration is essential

**Salary**:

- Up to £28,000
