The Financial Systems team sits within Financial Accounting team, which is part of Financial Services. The team delivers a broad systems support service to Finance and the wider UCL community. The team is responsible for maintaining the integrity and operations of the core finance system (MyFinance - an Oracle e-business suite) through carrying out certain processes within the system, such as month end and maintaining UCL’s Chart of Accounts. The team also provides systems support for financial accounting and financial reporting processes and for providing second line support to the Finance helpdesk.
The team also facilitates functional testing for both the MyFinance (accounting) and Axiom (reporting) systems.

**About the role**:
This is a varied and interesting job. You’ll be part of the financial systems team, responding to queries within stated SLAs; supporting the management of UCL's Chart of Accounts; supporting month-end and year-end close down; assisting the Financial Systems Manager and Senior Financial Systems Officer with testing of report and financial system developments, and assisting with the documenting of procedures, to support knowledge transfer and improve procedures to minimise errors and improve processes and procedures.

**About you**:
To do this job you'll ideally have experience of supporting finance systems, month end processing within a finance department, and supporting testing system developments.
