As a cook at Evergreen, you will join a team who are celebrated for their individuality, whilst having a strong, shared set of values. Ideally you will already have experience as a cook with food hygiene training, but we will consider applicants that have experience of catering for larger numbers and that are passionate about cooking wholesome food for children.

As our nursery cook, you will:
Prepare exciting, nutritious meals for our lovely children aged between 0-4, based on what they like to eat and nutritional values

Ensure Health and Safety measures are maintained throughout all stages of ordering, delivery, preparation and service

Oversee all kitchen operations, making sure that all kitchen facilities are safe and clean to use

Accommodate for any special dietary or nutrition requirements

Involve and engage the children to support their understanding of healthy eating, personal and social development and safety around mealtimes
