**Full Job Description**

**Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 hours, Set Round**

Location**:Runcorn and surrounding NW areas**

Salary**:£22,000.00 per annum**

Here at Coffee King Ltd. we are known for our exceptional coffee and our Coffee King smiles. Bringing our fresh barista made coffee direct to our customers doors daily. Our barista vans are all set to be on the road, at private events, markets and even at festivals.

If you have a passion for coffee, a warm smile and a basic understanding of making coffee, we can do the rest and ensure you are fully trained and ready to get out on the roads.

We are currently looking for our next Mobile Barista to take the wheel and drive our sales forward. We have full time set rounds available that run from Monday to Friday for anyone that needs the stability of set days and hours.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Drive the mobile barista van to designated areas and serve customers from the rear of the van
- To operate the EPOS system and till in line with brand operation & cash handling procedures.
- To deliver the highest levels of customer service in line with brand standards, prompting the ‘Coffee King’ smile at all times, as per the operational manual.
- To produce & present all snacks to company standards
- To maintain standards of Health Safety & cleanliness (working to the standards defined in the operations manual)
- To produce & serve all coffee and drinks to brand standards, procedures & recipes.
- Maintain stock levels/availability by replenishing display/fridges within company guidelines/planograms, rotating stock to ensure compliance with company health & safety guidelines and hygiene standards.
- Purchase replenishment stock via authorised suppliers only, in-line with company processes
- To sell & demonstrate product knowledge by advising the customer/answering queries & suggesting products to the customer as part of the ordering process. Act on initiative to optimise sales to the customer by using ‘up-selling’ techniques
- Complete the daily ‘Start Up’ and ‘Close Down’ checklist forms, reporting any issues or discrepancies.
- To complete all tasks required by the daily cleaning schedule.
- Keep the mobile barista van clean and tidy at all times and in-line with the company Operations’ Manual
- Ensure your wear your uniform as advised by your line manager.
- A valid driving licence
- An ability to participate in basic food sales
- Happy and positive personality
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Literate & numerate
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, client & staff
- Ability to work with a team, and on own initiative
- Flexible approach to the role
- A practical and calm approach to work, with the ability to prioritise day-to-day tasks
- Holds a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, or to be willing to complete this on commencement of employment.
- An understanding of health and safety in the workplace
- An understanding of, and a willingness to work within a culture of equalities and diversity.
- This can be a demanding stand-alone role, and therefore requires an energetic individual that can multi-task.

**Desirable**
- Worked within a customer facing environment.
- Worked in Hospitality/Retail Industry.
- Fully trained to Barista standard with full understanding of brand standards.
