We are looking for an experienced resettlement officer, who can hit the ground running, to join our support team for the Homes for Ukraine scheme as well as Afghan resettlement and other refugee schemes. This is a role in a small team, and you will work together to plan for refugees coming to Herefordshire, providing dedicated resettlement support once they arrive. You will be working across all the schemes, which includes refugees being housed in their own accommodation as well as those living with sponsors. You will provide support to help refugees settle into their new home and community and will include help with finances, accessing education and schools, health and well-being services, either providing direct support or sign posting to others. Your aim is to empower those you support so that they understand life in the UK with the aim of independence and integration within the local community.
