Experienced Barista

DeWaldens Garden Centre is a busy Independent Garden Centre with our Peace & Plenty Coffee Shop being a focus on site.

We are looking for an Experienced Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant to come and join our team.

The Role
- Making & Serving drink orders to customers
- Efficient & Timely manner making drink orders
- Accuracy & confidence with a coffee machine & menu
- High standard coffee barista with speed
- Be proactive with orders and members of the team
- Work well with others as part of a team
- Responsibility for setting up your area each day
- Cleaning routines to be adhered to at all times
- Make sure all provisions are kept stocked up
- Ensure a safe environment for all staff and customers
- Handle deliveries as required & Stock taking

Personal Attributes
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a cafe/coffee shop environment
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Barista - either qualifications or working experience
- Calm & friendly attitude with attention to detail
- Punctual time keeper & reliable
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Be able to work weekends - Full /Part Time position
- Ideally have - formal Barista Training or Qualifications
- Ideally - Trained in Coffee Art

Hours of work - TBC working 5 days a week including one day at the weekend
- up to 30 hours

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour
