We are looking for a driven Sales Co-ordinator to join our team here at Birch.

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group and catering-related opportunities across all sectors of the business from initial enquiry stage to a seamless handover with the Planning team. They ensure business is turned over correctly and in a timely fashion for fantastic service delivery in line with Birch’s standard business timelines. Responsible for driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Provides service to our customers to grow the account on behalf of Birch Community, across the enterprise. Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with all relevant hotel departments and the customer to ensure consistent, high-level service the enquiry stage.

The Sales Coordinator takes personal responsibility to adhere to sales and event brand standards for enquiry handling all events on property (corporate, rooms only, weddings, social etc.) will be required to work weekends and evenings as needed by business needs.

**Must Haves**:

- 2+ years in a similar role
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments, have timely follow up and execution
- Knowledge of Opera or similar
- Good financial understanding
- A positive attitude and team player mentality
- An eye for details and creativity for event
- Creative and passionate about events and having an impact
