**L3Harris’ Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a **Demonstration Department Applications Engineer** to join our team. **This position will be based at our Farnborough, Hampshire UK facility

**Position Overview**:
Responsible for factory and possibly field based technical support of the L3Harris CS Tactical Communications radio and networking equipment’s held within the UK demo pool, in the HF, VHF, UHF, L, S, C, Ku and X Band (RF) spectrum. Including Type 1 products. May require international travel.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- The identification, preparation & execution of both local & field-based demo requests in line with export control licensing.
- Operate, manage, and develop the Demo Pool order tracking, and equipment database, both h/w & s/w.
- Perform & maintain complete inventory of Demo Pool assets and provide regular equipment status report.
- Maintenance and upkeep of the technical reference software and documentation library.
- Back loading & Processing of faulty equipment and testing of returned demo pool equipment to agreed service levels.
- Provide training support to customers, at suitable locations throughout the operational sphere of Harris interests.
- Also willing to travel to support National & International customers both in the field and at base locations.
- Repair, maintenance, calibration of all HSL based demo pool hardware in conjunction with RF demo pool.

**Required (Basic) Qualifications**:

- Associates Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with military and tactical radio communications systems.
- Knowledge of tactical radio systems to include the Operation, Maintenance & execution of static and field-based demonstrations.
- Able to hold UK SC or NATO secret clearance
