Factory Operative

The work will be based within a busy factory environment, and it is essential that applicants have a good understanding of Health and Safety at all times.

Duties can include:
- Visual inspection and testing of scaffolding/ construction products (training provided).
- Fettling and assembly of steel fabricated parts.
- Use of industrial hand tools and angle grinders to clean steel.
- Working to daily targets.
- Working as part of a team under supervision.
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times.

Initially temporary leading to a permanent position following a qualifying period.

Day shift Monday to Friday 39 hours

Hourly rate £11.50 PAYE.

**Experience**:

- Hand and power tools: 2 years (preferred)
- Industrial or construction: 2 years (preferred)
