As a** **Field Collections Agent at Orbit Credit Services you will be having conversations with people to support them get back to financial wellbeing. You’ll be field based covering a region of up to an hour and a half from your home address.
In this rewarding role we’ll support you to use your expertise and commitment to customer service to helping our customers achieve financial health. Your role will involve you:
- Visiting our customers at their home address supporting them get back on track with their water bills
- Day to day you can expect to resolve customer’s accounts on a personal basis, taking payments, and setting up repayment plans to help them achieve financial wellbeing
- Educating customers on the potential consequences of non-payment of their account
- We’ll supply you with an iPad so you can update customers’ accounts with visit outcomes, so you need to be IT literate and comfortable using the iPad
To help with the work-life balance, you should be:
- Flexible to work the hours to suit you and your customers
- As you’ll be visiting customers at their property, you’ll need a full drivers licence that enables you to drive one of our manually operated company vehicles
To be successful in this role and to gain the best outcome for our customers, we’d aim to understand their reasons for falling behind on their payments and then work with them to turn this around. When dealing with our customers, you'll to need to listen, and ask the right questions at the right time to help you to create the ideal solution for them, so you’ll need the following skills:
- Confident verbal communicator
- Good listening and decision making skills
- Proven time management skills
- Comfortable working alone
