**VHL Lecturer - Land Based (Pre-16 Schools)**

**Variable hours, 52 weeks per year (Hours available between 9.00am - 2.00 5 days per week)**

**Salary: £18.54 - £26.88 per hour (Dependant on skills, qualifications & experience)**

**Campus: Lackham, Wiltshire**

Set in 1600 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside, Lackham is the College’s specialist campus for land-based study. Having recently undergone a £9million redevelopment, the resources at Lackham include a large Animal Centre, 2 working farms, and a brand new Agri-tech centre.

**About the role**

As a Pre-16 Schools Lecturer, you will teach on our range of entry level and Level 1 courses. You will prepare schemes of work, lesson, and assessment plans, and contribute with active enthusiasm to the wider enrichment of students. This will include supporting pastoral needs, participating in parents and open evenings, working with the community on live projects and external exhibitions, and organising study trips. Enabling learners to maximise their potential, you will ensure your resource materials and teaching reflect best practice contributing to the quality of provision as measured by retention, attendance, success rates, progression, final grades, and value added.

With an enthusiastic, motivated, and engaging approach you will have the theoretical and practical skills to energise students and support them to realise their goals.
