After School Club Assistant

MPA recruitment are currently recruiting an afterschool assistant within a childcare setting. The role is to cover maternity leave and will run for approximately 9 months.

Duties
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor children's behaviour and intervene when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
- Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities and progress

**Requirements**:

- NVQ level 2 in childcare preferred
- At least 6 months working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children

The working hours would be Monday - Friday 1.30pm-6pm.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
