With a dedicated team and a 350-cow herd, we're looking for an Assistant Herdsperson to work alongside our experienced Herdsman in managing day-to-day tasks and ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock.

**Position Overview**:
As an Assistant Herdsperson, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations, working closely with our Herdsman to manage the daily tasks involved in the care of our herd. This includes milking, calf feeding, calf management, herd health, and various other livestock duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with milking operations
- Feeding and caring for calves
- Managing calf health and well-being
- Supporting herd health initiatives
- Assisting with general livestock duties as required
- Following directions and collaborating effectively with the team

**Requirements**:

- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with cattle
- Some prior experience with cattle handling preferred
- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
