**What you'll work on**

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for helping others? We're looking for a dynamic team player to provide essential administrative support to our client's diverse team of housing professionals. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of tenants by assisting in housing management, coordinating the void management process, and ensuring properties are ready to welcome new tenants with open arms.

Take charge of nomination requests and showcase your ability to manage Right to Buy and Leasehold Management functions, guiding applicants from initial interest to completion or cancellation. Put your problem-solving skills to work as you assist in managing leasehold properties and calculating service charges. In addition, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the lettings and terminations of council-owned garages.

**A few things to note**
- The rate for this role is £13.77 per hour Umbrella
- The term for this role is 3 months initially

**Who we're looking for**
- At least 2 years experience of working in an administrative environment.
- Knowledge of Right to Buy
- Knowledge of Leasehold Management from Service charge calculation to collecting and monitoring leasehold accounts
- Able to maintain confidentiality and compliance to Human Rights and Data Protection legislation
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Equal Opportunity practices, and legislation
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff and other organisations, both verbally and in writing
- Able to work independently prioritising own workload and as part of a team, understanding the needs of teamwork
- Be able to carry out day-to-day administrative tasks
- Must be able to deal with pressurised situations in a controlled and effective manner
- Must be able to make concise written reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Demonstrate tact and sensitivity. Consider and respond positively to the views of others
- Follow laid down policies and procedures
- Deliver services in a manner consistent with the purpose aims and values of Rugby Borough Council.
- Experience in dealing with the public both face to face and by telephone with a varying customer base
- Demonstrate flexibility, fairness, and equality in the delivery of the service. A commitment to equality of opportunity in employment and service delivery
