Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced **Female** **Healthcare Assistant** to support a young boy who lives at home with his mum, dad and brothers in Barnstaple.

He has severe Epilepsy, learning disabilities, and autism. He has a stoma and is fully dependent on the care team. He uses a wheelchair and the carer needs to meet him at school with his teaching assistant. He will need someone who is confident with learning disabilities and have a calm approach to situations.

**You will be working 1:1**

**You need to be an experienced carer.** It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. **Training is paid for.**

**Pay Rates**:

- **£12.75 p/hr Monday - Friday**:

- **£15.30 p/hr Saturday - Sunday**:

- **£18.30 p/hr Bank Holidays**

**Shifts**:
**9am - 3pm, Monday - Friday During Term Time Available**

It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

**Full mileage paid from home to this location in BARNSTAPLE up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.**
