We’re looking for a proactive Project Co Ordinator to join our national team of 141 professionals at our Blackpool office, where we can work together to Optimise the world’s transition to net zero and beyond.
**About the role**

As Project Coordinator within Optimised, you will be responsible for providing project coordination & administration support to the Consulting team. Reporting to the Director of Consulting you will help the team to meet its objectives through supporting operational efficiency and organisation.
**What you’ll actually do**
***
- Assist with the scheduling, resourcing and delivery of all client engagements assigned to the Consulting Projects team.
- Prepare & issue Risk Assessment & Method Statements.
- Book site audits, & meetings as required by the consultants.
- Monitor client deliverables on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all timelines are achieved.
- Update the project delivery plan software (via Click-Up) & monitor.
- Provide overarching document control of all client engagements including responding to data / information requests and ensuring records are maintained according to the company process
- Provide non-technical quality assurance of project documents.
- Communicate with clients as required to ensure expectations are managed effectively.
- Help drive consistent processes on engagements including program, financial control, and reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues encountered during project implementation to ensure lessons learnt are incorporated.
- Provide ongoing administrative support to the team in a visible and approachable manner.
- Set-up and maintain resource within the Professional Services Automation (PSA) system.
- Analyse staffing needs based on project requirements and develop internal/external resource plans.
- Oversee controls around scope creep and commercial risk management.
- Where possible, monitor and optimise engagement margins, staff utilisation and recovery rates.
- Liaise with Sub-Contract consultants as required to ensure they are onboarded and managed as an extension of the team.
- Complete key metrics within the divisional Balanced Scorecard each month.
- Undertake regular engagement reporting to help understand margin exceptions.
- Track and report on engagement KPI’s relating to quality and timeliness. Convert company and local strategies into achievable operational plans.

- Microsoft Office Skills essential.
- Familiarity with Project management software such as Click-Up or Kimble Preferred.
- Demonstratable experience of project coordination, document control & administrative support.
- Project Management Skills with ability to prioritise and manage high workloads.
- Eligibility to work in the UK
