As a FTSE 100 business undergoing an exciting period of transformation and growth, this role offers an ambitious and data-focused individual the opportunity to directly impact the capacity and resource planning for manufacturing, logistics, and suppliers.

This is an opportunity for the post holder to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business. As such we are looking for someone who will build effective relationships and confidently articulate the Demand Plan, providing appropriate context information to the supply planning & purchasing teams and demonstrate its accuracy. A natural communicator with experience in pulling together presentations, the role requires this person to lead or support stakeholder meetings.

**What will you be doing as a Demand Planner**:

- Forecast the expected demand for stock on all Primary Distribution Centres for a chosen group of products as accurately as possible.
- Reviewing sales, allocations & despatch history and adjusting it where necessary.
- To build strong relationships with marketing, route to market support, and supply planning, gather relevant management information, and ensure understanding and alignment with the business demand plan.
- Proactively identify and address forecast accuracy issues, as well as respond to business queries in a prompt & professional manner.

**What do you need to qualify for the Demand Planner**:

- ‘A’ level qualified or equivalent as a minimum.
- Previous Demand planning experience is required, ideally gained in a Blue Chip, IT Driven, Manufacturing or Retail environment.
- Good knowledge of IT systems (ideally, SAP APO) for Forecasting, Inventory Management, Planning, and production Scheduling.
- MS Excel - Intermediate level essential.
