Design Draftsperson

Due to a period of growth, Knight Engineering Solutions Ltd is seeking a full time Design Draftsperson to join our team.

This post would ideally suit a recent college or university leaver who is looking to gain experience in design work. It is anticipated that the role will include some additional duties to supplement the design element of the job, so the successful applicant will gain broad experience in a busy mechanical engineering company.
- All levels of experience will be considered.
- Must be competent with SolidWorks.
- Must have a good understanding of mathematics and be able to perform strength and pressure calculations for components.
- Mechanical engineering or similar qualifications would be beneficial.

This role will be office based, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00. Benefits include 30 days annual leave per annum, on site parking and company pension scheme.

Competitive salary, dependent on experience.

Who we are:
Knight Engineering Solutions Ltd is a family-owned business established in 2019 and based near Inverurie. We specialise in prototype design, development, and parts manufacture, predominantly for the oil and gas sector. We also have a number of testing facilities within our 6,000 sq. ft workshop and 5 acres of outdoor area, including a test well flow loop and hyperbaric chamber.
