Fisheries Operative

Due to expansion, we are looking to add to our Fisheries and Water Management Team.

The majority of work is outdoors in all conditions and often physically demanding. This role is located at our site in Merton, Norfolk, however we perform our work around the UK, so applicants must be prepared to travel.

**Your duties as Fisheries Operative are, but not limited to**:
**Fishery Duties**
- Implementing the treatment of both non-native and invasive aquatic plants and algae using various processes including herbicide, dye, barley straw, bacteria and mechanical methods.
- Being responsible for the installation of fish habitat to ponds, lakes and rivers
- Installation and maintenance of pond equipment, such a pumps and fountain systems
- Completing fish surveys and fish removals using seine net and electro-fishing methodology

A CSCS card would be advantageous.

This is a varied role that requires the applicant to have problem solving abilities and a basic level of practical skills.

There are opportunities within the business to become more experienced and skilled within the consultancy, contracting or fishery management and plant nursery.

Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence.

**Salary**: £21,500.00 - £24,000.00 but largely dependant on experience.
