**Key Responsibilities**
As we always make great efforts to deliver an exceptional personalised service to our employees, we expect them to deliver the same standard of service to our clients. Working as a Healthcare Assistant for ITM Healthcare, your duty will be supporting patients & residents with their day-to-day activities. Some of the main tasks that you will be required to perform are:
- Carrying out dressing, washing and mobility assistance duties.
- Assisting with medication administering after full training and inspection from the nursing team.
- Actively participate in hobbies and activities, ensuring maximum resident wellbeing
- Provide a caring service that is compassionate and reassuring
- Preparing and serving meals to residents
- Always upholding the highest professional standards while ensuring health and safety compliance
**Your Experience**
- A minimum of a years previous experience of working in a similar role
- A proven ability to deliver tailored patient care meeting all aspects of their nutritional, physical and emotional needs
- A proven history of successfully working at part of a team towards delivering exceptional care to residents and patients
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the UK in order to be considered
**Desirable skills**
- A patient and caring personality with a passion for seeing how their care positively influences the people they look after
- A great communicator with excellent personal skills and a history of working with clients in healthcare settings
- A positive, can-do attitude, not shying away to go the extra mile when needed and always looking to help their colleagues
**Working hours and benefits**
We are currently offering a salary of £11 - 16.50 per hour with holiday pay for our Healthcare Assistant roles in Shropshire. Your working hours are flexible as we currently have shifts covering both days and nights, Monday to Sunday, with shift premiums available for nights, weekends and bank holidays.
