This private hospital in the heart of the Bucks countryside in Great Missenden, is part of Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare; with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, they perform more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. They have an opportunity for an Endoscopy Practitioner to join their team of staff in the Endoscopy department.
**About the role**:
As an Endoscopy Practitioner working within our client's Endoscopy department at the private hospital, you will deliver a high-quality Endoscopy service, where you will:
- Provide quality planned care across the endoscopy patient pathway, supporting and assisting the Endoscopy Practitioner Lead in the management and organisation of care provision within the endoscopy unit.
- Provide quality planned care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures within own scope of practice.
- Participate in the improvement in Essential Quality Requirements and Best Practice standards for flexible endoscopy services including decontamination and clinical care.
- Develop and enhance your own skills and knowledge.
**About you**:
- The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. _
You will be and Endoscopy Practitioner who:
- is a Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration;
- has completed **basic and advanced **competence / qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination;
- has completed the **Operators Course **in Endoscopy Decontamination;
- Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications: knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01 -06)
- worked in a unit with JAG accreditation and completed Endo 1 qualification and JETS.
- has up to date Immediate Life Support (ILS) training;
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
