Job Title: Pharmacy Dispenser

**Duties**:

- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging of medications
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide patient care
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries regarding medications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Familiarity with critical care and acute care settings
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for medication administration

The position is for 20 hours, 9-1pm from Tuesday to Saturday. There is flexibility in the schedule to sometimes change hours and also do overtime. You would receive 4 weeks pro rota annual leave and a bank holiday allowance. Upskill Training would be available 6 months post probation to qualified dispensers entering the position.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£11.50 per hour
