**Role Overview**:
The purpose of the role is to support the Team Leader with the manufacturing unit in achieving plant operational targets, product quality, customer service and health & safety objectives/

**Key Accountability**:
Participate in team activities, utilizing appropriate process, technical and engineering skills to achieve manufacturing, quality and service targets

Actively contributes to all team activities aimed at improving plant performance through implementation of continuous improvement, problem solving, team building and personal self-development

Suggest improvements to plant, process and operating procedures

Reacts to process, engineering, quality and safety issues as they arise and utilize the knowledge, experience and skills of own and other team members to initiate corrective aciton

Operates flexibility and safely within the team carrying out activities under direction of the team leader within area of competence, capability and training

Contribute to initiatives related to improve health & safety performance, taking an active part in risk assessment, hazard identification, for all operational activities and taking account of appropriate COMAH regulations/

Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
Level 5 Diploma - Controlling of lifting operations planning lifts

NVQ 3 - steel structure erecting/rigging

CPCS - A61 appointed person

CPCS - A62 Crane Supervisor

IOSH Managing safety

Crane operator, experience & licence

**Knowledge**:
Safe systems of work control and supervision
