Job Summary:
The Senior Associate role will be responsible for the delivery of Business as Usual (BAU) activities.

The design, implementation and roll-out of internal and external reconciliations to support our regulatory reporting obligations and evidence controls
The design, implementation and roll-out of Management Information and
Reporting to support our business and evidence controls & oversight
The effective and efficient management of Regulatory Reporting investigations to ensure that our regulatory obligations are documented, complete and accurate.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring that the team generate and deliver Regulatory reports, as defined and agreed in line with our regulatory control framework
- Ensuring that we undertake any reconciliations necessary to evidence stringent oversight and control of regulatory reporting processes and data o Partner with regional and global functional leads on the design, development and delivery of operations tooling as a means of ensuring operational regulatory controls are in place
- Analysis of business workflows, controls testing of trade source system flows and testing of Regulatory platform trade processing Logic.
- To take ownership of and provide SME support for relevant projects
- Design and execution of ad hoc MI reports to meet the needs of senior management and service stakeholders
- Highlight and track all technology development requests for process and data accuracy enhancements
- Work to support wider Regulatory reporting team to meet all regulator, audit and client delivery deadlines
- Partner with function leads on the identification and implementation of automation opportunities to help streamline and simplify processes
- Design, preparation, analysis and distribution of Operational MI to key stakeholders

People Responsibilities:

- Building strong working relationships with London colleagues and stakeholders
- Training junior colleagues on team processes
- Mentoring junior colleagues to assist in their professional and personal development
- Overseeing the execution of tasks for junior colleagues, ensuring timely delivery to quality and agreed service levels

Risk Responsibilities
Ensure that you understand the risks and controls on your department; what could go wrong, what controls you have to prevent/detect or contain these.

All staff have defined risk management responsibilities. The Group imposes additional responsibilities on line managers and senior managers. It is critical that all staff discharge their risk management responsibilities when
undertaking their role. Specific responsibilities are incorporated into employee objectives, and your performance against these objectives will be assessed as part of the firm’s performance management process. You will also
be required to confirm that you have discharged your risk management responsibilities through the annual risk management attestation process.

Person Specification:
Essential criteria:

- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK
- Knowledge of the financial markets and European regulation
- Experience of project management and change implementation
- Experience of designing and building Management Reports
- Experience of UAT testing
- A broad base of operations knowledge and experience minimum 3 years
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience
