**Torque Wrench Manufacturing Cell Leader**

Norbar Torque Tools Ltd., the world leading torque tool manufacturer has an opportunity for an experienced individual to assist with the running of our day shift Torque Wrench Manufacturing operation to deliver quality product in full, on time.

Key tasks:

- Comply with and support the Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Deliver product on time to the right quality and cost to our customers
- Provide clear direction and act as a leader and coach to the manufacturing team
- Lead daily meetings to report the performance of the manufacturing team against KPIs
- Liaise daily with the Planning department to implement schedules and plans, allocate manpower and resources, ensuring all manufacturing activities are resourced and managed appropriately
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities through the analysis of the current operational performance

Key skill requirements:

- Experience in a people management role within a manufacturing/production environment, and capable of motivating team members to meet the business objectives
- Experience in Lean manufacturing principles
- Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to understand and work with Materials/Inventory planning systems
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Desirable qualities:

- Experience in welding, surface finishing and/or mechanical disciplines

In return for a 38 ½ hour week, we can offer starting hourly rate of £17.18
