Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is currently seeking an Advanced Health Care Assistant to join the Sexual Health Teamto join their team for 12 months. The shift pattern for this role will be Monday to Friday working 9am to 5pm. To be considered for this role you must have knowledge of HIV and the treatment and managed that goes along with this condition.

**About the Trust**

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust provides services across hospitals, clinics, and within the community. With the Trust providing more than 100 specialist services to one of the youngest populations in London, Croydon is a busy, exciting, and diverse place to work. **What you will be responsible for**
- Independently manage and run the HIV phlebotomy service.
- Collect specimens, undertakes and reports on biomedical investigations.
- Record Observations.
- To assist clinical staff during minor procedures such as insertion/removal of sub dermal and intrauterine devices to support clients who may be distressed when undergoing minor procedures or receiving difficult information.

The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.

**You will have the following qualification/experience**:

- A minimum of 6 months paid experience as an Advance Health Care Assistant working within the Sexual health / HIV department of a UK hospital environment within the last 2 years.
- Undertake regular mandatory training*

**Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.**
