**QA Officer**

**Location: Sunderland**

**Salary: £25,000 -£30,000 DOE**

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and approve SOPs and batch records to ensure compliance with GMP standards
- Conduct internal and supplier audits to assess compliance with GMP and company policies
- Maintain and update the quality management system, including policies, procedures and forms
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs to ensure ongoing compliance
- Review and approve validation protocols and reports
- Investigate deviations and out of specification results, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality management system

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- Previous experience in a QA or QC role in a GMP regulated environment
- Excellent knowledge of SOPs, GMP and regulatory requirements
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with computer systems such as LIMS, SAP, and Microsoft Office
