A key deliverable in the role of Missing From Home Worker is to work in collaboration with local authorities and the local constabulary to offer support on the issues affecting young people and their families. This is a role requiring specialist knowledge in the field, to provide interventions and direct work, as well as signposting and implementing relevant referrals for our young people and their families. A key focus for the role is to provide educational awareness within local authority residential homes and foster care providers.
