We are looking for an innovative Software Engineer to join our Instrument Software team. This role involves working on the continuous evolution and improvement of an industry-leading DNA sequencing technology.

Other responsibilities include:

- Delivering robust, well-tested, highly efficient production-level implementations of innovative software
- Developing and designing new components and features
- Continually working to improve existing production code bases
- Enthusiastically promoting and adopting best practices in software development

What We're Looking For...
We'll expect you to have significant software development experience, ideally in a commercial or industrial setting.

You will have:

- Expertise in modern Python
- Knowledge of good software development techniques and practices
- Relevant STEM degree, or equivalent experience

You should relish working as part of a team with diverse skills and backgrounds in a dynamic environment. You'll need strong interpersonal skills with the ability to discuss technical matters with non-technical colleagues.
