Physician Associate

**Responsibilities**:
- Perform medical tests and examinations of patients.
- Advise patients on medical treatment options.
- Refer patients to other medical specialists when necessary.
- Inform patients of any necessary changes to their medical treatments or surgeries.
- Communicate with other health care providers about patient care.
- Keep accurate patient records and communicate these records with other health care providers.
- Teach medical students about patient care.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Post-graduate Physician Associate (PG Diploma or Msc).
- Completion of GP Primary Care Ready Programme would [desirable criteria].
- Maintained professional registration with FPA Faculty of Physician Associates or GMC
- Has passed the UK Physician Associate National Re-Certification Exam - Required every 6 years
- Undertaking CPD opportunities and keeping up with evidence-base knowledge and competencies. Meeting Clinical Governance guidelines for CPD
- Will be working under the supervision of a GP as part of the medical team
- Should be available to work on Fridays. [Other day can be flexible]
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week
**Salary**: £39,765.00-£45,912.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
