The work involves the removal of large, dumped nondomestic waste such as furniture, fridges, washing machines, and any other waste that has been fly-tipped. **The position requires a valid, full driving** **license** **as you will be issued with a company vehicle to travel between properties located in M4 and M25 corridor.**

**DUTIES**:
The role encompasses sweeping and cleaning the bin stores or areas where items have been dumped

On occasions, it may be necessary to clear household waste and bags from bins or bin stores

On occasion handling of contaminated materials may be required (however these **must** only be handled in line with your job specific training)

On occasions disinfecting bin areas will be required

The role is for both collection of the waste and disposal at a licensed tipping facility

This role can be a sole operative role but on larger, heavier jobs two men will be sent in accordance with the safe manual handling practices

On occasion emptying of a green waste trailer will be required

On occasions direct liaison with clients is required to provide accurate quotations for waste removal on a weight basis

General tasks include:
Manual handling of large bulky items

Litter picking, Sweeping, Tipping

Accurate filling out of paperwork, tipping receipts and consignment notes

Driving

Taking before and after pictures of all waste collected

Noting down a percentage of each load per property

The above description is not exhaustive and flexibility is required on tasks. Occasions may occur where requests may fall outside of the above description. Full training will be given and more detail provided within the companies staff handbook and training manuals.
