**EQUANS is recruiting for an Senior Caretaker to be based in Witton Park Academy. Blackburn BB2 6TD. This is a permane**nt Full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competative salary.**:
**Generally 08:30 - 16:30 and on occasions (when needed) 11:00-19:00.**:
Candidtes **MUST** be able to successfully obtain a DBS check

**What will you deliver?**:
Responsible for the day to day management of the school premises with respect to caretaking services, together with establishing a close working relationship with the school and community groups. Ensure that all services are provided to a consistently high standard. Assist the Area Supervisor in meeting the requirements of the Project Agreement.

**Who are we looking for?**:
Essential:

- Experience of providing general cleaning and security duties and basic maintenance of buildings and associated plant and systems
- Experience of supervising the work of others
- Experience of delegating work and managing a team
- Experience of managing staff HR issues and Absence
- Client Management and Liaison
- Experience in computerised systems including Windows Packages
- Active knowledge of statutory and none statutory Planned Preventative Tasks

Disireable:

- Experience of caretaking within an educational environment
- Experiences of CAFM systems
- Experience of coaching and mentoring teams
