**Band 6 Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Specialist Practitioners **An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time, Band 6 PBS Specialist Practitioners for a new project delivering PBS training to providers, carers and families of Children and Young People with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.

Initially the role will be Fixed Term or Secondment (24 months)These exciting new roles have been created to roll out PBS training across Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire to:

- Carers: Parents/Foster Carers/Respite Carers (creating Parent Ambassadors)o Community care: Paid Carers/ Dom care/ Residential Homes/Voluntary and Third Sector Organisationso Education: Special Schools/Residential Schools /Social Workers/ SEND services and educational psychologists.

Essential requirements for this role:o Degree level professional qualification in nursing, OT, Social Work or AHP.o Evidence of post-graduate qualification, experience of working in or working towards a learning disability field or equivalent.o Evidence of post registration training.o Degree or equivalent qualification in sphere of professional practice.o Evidence of Professional updating and development in the delivery services to people with learning disabilities with behavioural of concern.

A desirable attribute would be a qualification or further training in Positive Behavioural Support e.g. BILD/ CAPS course
