As a chimney sweep trainee, you will embark on a journey that includes:

- In-house training to learn the ropes.
- Hands-on experience alongside our seasoned sweep team.
- Attending the NACS 4-day chimney sweeping course in Stone, Staffordshire.
- Opportunities to expand your skills in stove servicing, CCTV inspections, and small repairs.

Yes, it's a physically demanding job, and you might get a bit grubby at times, but the satisfaction of a job well done is immeasurable.

**Your journey to becoming a fully-fledged chimney sweep**:
You will start with comprehensive training, both on the job and through formal courses. The duration of the training period will vary depending on individual capability and course availability. We'll support you every step of the way.
- Full UK driver's license (with no more than 6 points).
- The confidence to work independently after training.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to various environments.
- Clear communication and the ability to explain technical details to customers.
- A personable, friendly, and can-do attitude.
- A fondness for furry friends (customers' pets) and an understanding of their helpful "assistance."
- A good local knowledge of our working area (helpful but not essential).

**Compensation package**:

- Training paid at £11.44 per hour, estimated to last approximately 2 months.
- Once trained and with your NACS assessment passed, minimum starting salary of £25,740+ per annum. OTE £30,000+
- Opportunities for overtime and performance related bonuses.
