Our award-winning company is looking to recruit a well-organised person who can be responsible for managing our warehouse operations. EMS Lifts Ltd, established for over 30 years is a leading mobility lift company. As a result of continual sustained growth we are looking to add a new Warehouse Storeman to our team. This role requires a experienced proactive individual with good communication and computer skills, and someone that is committed to helping the company grow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory systems accordingly.
- Cutting of rails and tracks
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and manage the receipt of goods.
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and accurately.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized and maintained in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
- Implement and enforce proper safety procedures to minimize accidents and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist with the assembly, installation, and testing of Stairlifts and other mobility lifts, as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics procedures.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Competent, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual
- Well organised and have strong attention to detail
- Team player and able work collaboratively
- Good computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software.

Not essential but nice to haves
- Knowledge of Stairlifts and other mobility lift products.
- Forklift certification.

This position is office-based and we provide flexible working hours.
