**We are seeking to appoint a Head of Podiatry with expertise in podiatry education and leadership. The post-holder’s principal role will be to fulfil the role of Head of Subject for Podiatry, leading and managing the team of academics delivering the range of Podiatry programmes and activities.** The post-holder will be expected to
- lead on the development of new areas of business reflecting the changing external world and the needs of the podiatry sector.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to plan, design, develop and deliver a range of high-quality programmes of study at all levels
- Contribute to our thinking and challenge how Salford can transform the way it addresses equity, disparities, embraces diversity and becomes more inclusive
- Foster the development of an inclusive community, using teaching approaches which encourage inclusivity, working in partnership with students to improve their sense of belonging, diversifying the curriculum and using approaches to inclusive assessment to close the award gap
- Promote development and delivery of innovative simulation and practice-based learning opportunities through the delivery of our state of the art, on-site podiatry clinic

In particular, we are seeking to employ someone with experience of working in Higher Education, dedication to creating the best possible student experience and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and partners.

**Please note this is a full time, permanent role and the salary is grade 9; ranging from £54 949-£61, 823 per annum based on experience and qualifications.**
