Sarcoma Joint Cwt Co-ordinator

The post holder will be required to work independently, but under the guidance and supervision of the Sarcoma services across the South West Peninsula to set up this exciting new role. The role involves collection of data and preparation of statistical reports to track patient activity through the sarcoma pathway and present at meetings. Data will need to be collected in line with the national sarcoma service specification, COSD data for cancer statistics and standards. The post holder will track patients pathway throughout the South West Peninsula Sarcoma Pathway, liaising with other sarcoma centres as required.
They will be based primarily within the Plastic Surgery Department.
To work with and support the members of the Sarcoma MDT across the Peninsula to enhance the care and management of patients by collection of accurate data that represents service activity across the Peninsula.
To work alongside cancer services, highlighting awareness of current cancer directives and quality standards.
**Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.**
Available as a fixed term contract.
