This is an exciting opportunity to join Hammersmith and Fulham’s Homebuy Team.
In the Homebuy team, we seek to support local residents and workers onto the property ladder by administering low-cost home ownership products such as Right to Buy, Council Shared Equity and Intermediate Rent. We work closely with developers and local housing providers to promote new developments, advertise existing, and provide nominations for new developments and resales. We also manage aftersales for themes such as lease extensions, alterations, and freehold sales.
We are looking for a new officer to join our close-knit team as we work to deliver a first-class service to our customers.
You will have a real focus on building relationships, providing high quality customer service, and working efficiently to ensure all sales are progressed in a timely manner. You will manage several different sale types at any given time and you will be able to prioritise tasks and manage your time well.
You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be IT literate, self-motivated, organised and bring a positive, can-do attitude.

**Role Responsibilities**:
**The key responsibilities are as below**:
- Assist with negotiations between customers and surveyors from the Commercial Property team, and agree Council Shared Equity (CSE) Resale and Purchase valuations with the Council surveyor and Homebuy colleagues.
- Use initiative to identify potential cost saving or revenue raising measures, present to team for consideration and own them through to delivery
- Promote and represent the Home Buy service in meetings with residents and Members and take minutes if required, ensuring that action points are progressed.
- Work autonomously and independently on routine matters and refer sensitive and complicated matters to management or legal services in a prompt manner for advice.
- Deputise for the Team Leader, where appropriate.
