**About the role**

The **Senior Forensic Examiner** will be a member of the Global Cyber Defence Forensic Services team and is responsible for supporting with the delivery of forensics services to customers across Haleon. This role will provide support to the Forensic Services Manager for various incident types by following written standard operating procedures and help support investigations led from Security Operations, HR, Security Investigations & Resilience, Compliance, Legal and other business units as required. The Senior Forensic Examiner will perform the collection, analysis, and presentation of electronic evidence to support investigations ensuring sound forensic processes and Chain of Custody are always adhered to. They will use a set of specialist Forensic tools and Enterprise Systems to gather electronic evidence and manage cases using Case Management Tool(s).

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Perform the collection of forensically sound electronic evidence using specialist forensic tools and partnering with various IT Service organizations, external third-party service providers and global business partners to support technical and non-technical investigations.
- Provide support for forensic investigations of various incident types by following written standard operating procedures.
- Ensure the integrity and security of all evidential artefacts and completing supporting documentation.
- Help identify and assist in delivering incremental service and technical improvement programmes that deliver increased capability/reduce costs.
- Be aware of the need to partner with HR to ensure HR and disciplinary processes are followed.
- Be aware of Legal requirements to ensure all applicable laws are complied with both during evidence collection and incident management.
- Where necessary present electronic evidence to internal HR processes, Tribunals or other formal processes.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Minimum level of education: Certificate of completion of a vocational school or Certificate of Maturity. General interest in IT security and Digital Forensics.
- Proficient in the use of computers and different OS’s ie MS OS and iOS.
- Preferably holder of a Bachelor's degree in one of the areas: Information Technology, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Management. Industry qualifications such as EnCE, GCFE or similar.
- Min. 10 years relevant experience
- An excellent understanding of Investigation processes, electronic evidence collection, handling and presentation, enterprise IT systems and security services. Demonstrable experience in the use of Forensic/Technical Tools such as EnCase, Cellebrite, XRY, Splunk, MS Purview.
- Broad level of knowledge in Information Security and Digital Forensics required to lead investigations and manage senior stakeholders.
- Representing high level of confidence in building relations and managing expectations across a variety of senior Tech and business stakeholders and geographic cultures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and experience in working with multiple environments to develop and communicate strategies that are relevant, meaningful, and applicable in the respective markets.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Management or 10 years relevant experience.
- Industry qualifications such as EnCE, GCFE or similar
