**Trainee Independent Financial Adviser**
Due to the expansion of our business, Steven Martin & Associates Ltd are seeking to recruit a Trainee Independent Financial Adviser, who once qualified, will service an existing client base.
**Career Progression**
You will firstly be employed as an Administrator reporting to senior management and to support our existing team of Financial Advisers. You will learn our in-house procedures and you will support Advisers by;
- Assisting in preparation of meetings
- Submitting new business
- Drafting reports
- Liaising with Life Offices
- Making appointments with clients and prospective clients
- Shadowing Advisers’ in meetings
Within the first 12 months, we will commence a training programme and support your membership to the Chartered Insurance Institute to gain Level 4 status by completing the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) while continuing to do your current administrative role. This qualification is a must to enable you to advise on pensions and investments. We expect the full qualification and training required to take an average of 2-3 years.
The Level 4 diploma consists of 6 units, each with study material and an examination. The core study material and examinations (but not re-sits) will be paid for by ourselves.
Having gained the qualifications and background necessary, you will then become a full-time Independent Financial Adviser.
You must be highly motivated and committed to gaining the knowledge and expertise required.

- Have an ability to put a clients needs first
