**Job overview**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced dietitian to join our dynamic and friendly community Nutrition Support Team in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, which sits within the Integrated Neighbourhood Team. The senior managers in the care organisation in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale are inclusive, friendly and encourage innovation.

You will work as an autonomous practitioner within in a variety of settings including community clinics, care and nursing homes and patients own homes. Leading on clinical governance and service development would be part of this role.

You will provide supervision for staff within the community dietetic team and will also undertake the role of lead for student training.

As an organisation we encourage flexible working and there are opportunities within this role to work from home.

**Main duties of the job**:
You will work with patients across a range of specialities including enteral tube feeding, gastro -intestinal cancers (head and neck, oesophageal, gastric, pancreatic), complex respiratory conditions, motor neurone disease, adverse symptom management and severe malnutrition.

We are involved in the training of student dietitians and staff development is a high priority. We are committed to work-based education and training to improve clinical skills and we actively encourage CPD and audits.
