Job Summary/Goals
To support accommodation activities and related moves at AstraZeneca’s portfolio of space in the Northern Region
Essential
**Responsibilities**:
Supporting ad-hoc desktop IT requirements including spares management, faulty item replacement / disposal
- Performing ad hoc preventative maintenance checks on furniture - reporting on wear & tear items
Provide BAU porterage service to carry out internal moves, labouring assistance, preventative & remedial repairs, crate management, stock management
Support the local FM team as required
Warehouse stock control checks
Manage the available storage space in a SHE compliant manner
Manage the waste process in a SHE compliant manner
Follow building access & security processes
Build relationships with all customer groups
Provide consistent and accurate communication with all related service providers, client and customers.
Ensure compliance with all key performance indicators
Work with the UK JLL team on the re-use furniture demand process. Donate where possible charity items to AZ nominated charity and other local community charities
- Lab Furniture/IT audits (excluding scientific machinery)
Building space plan audits when required
Inventories for building exits
Out of hours supervision of project moves
Role / Responsibilities
In addition to providing the information listed above, the other responsibilities of this role include:
Attends meetings for small projects and moves
Identify opportunities of how to improve / innovate and optimise accommodation spaces for the client
Interaction
To ensure accurate reporting of information, and foster critical relationships between various individuals and organizations, communication channels will exist with:
Northern JLL Team
Local FM operatives
AZ Clients
JLL Leadership

Technology Proficiencies
Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - desirable but not essential
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
1-3 years of working experience in facilities
GCSE C Level or above in English & Maths
Full Driving License - preferable
Organisational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
Excellent written and verbal skills
Confidence and commitment to providing a high quality, professional service
Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for the completion of tasks
Ability to prioritise work tasks
Adaptable and flexible in approach to work required
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Reliable
Detail conscious
Results/tasks orientated
Acceptable personal grooming standards
Ability to perform tasks that require physical fitness
Detail orientated and fault finding
Practical knowledge of cabling IT desktop kit.
Good understanding of Commercial Office Furniture
SHE aware (i.e. Manual Handling - LITE Load. Individual. Task. Environment)
Flexibility with work hours including weekend work as required and travel as needed
Ability to multi-task and work both as a team and independently
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact at all levels of external and internal clients
