**Role Overview**

As Head of Information Security Architecture, you will provide direction and recommendations to improve the overall security of Bupa Global and UK (BGUK). Acting as a member of the Security Senior Leadership Team, you’ll the most senior technical security design guidance, taking ownership of security architecture design forums and governance processes for BGUK. Your role will be to lead a team of Security Consultants and Architects to deliver evolving services to ensure Bupa maintains its security posture.

**What you’ll do**:

- Develop and maintain our Security Architecture, internal consultancy services and related roadmaps, to meet the evolving needs of the business and deliver Bupa’s cyber security strategy.
- Responsible for defining target enterprise security architecture, ensuring it's integrated and aligned with the overarching BGUK target Enterprise Architecture.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in collaboration with other teams in the organisation, taking into account legal, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the wider Bupa leadership in developing their product roadmaps and strategies, to ensure they incorporate security by design.
- Lead the improvement of the security assessment service and governance process, embedding it into developing agile practises.
- Develop self-service methodologies to enable the business to take accountability for security in their product where appropriate and increase speed to market.
- Develop and clearly articulate processes for delivering security services throughout a product’s full life cycle, championing embedding security within agile ways of working across the Market Unit.
- Work closely with security operations teams, including providing input to shaping policies, procedures, and guidelines within the Market Unit.
- Own and update the CISO strategy for the Market Unit on behalf of the CISO.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Solid experience of working in cyber security and security architecture for large-scale organisations. Ths includes of designing security controls, design reviews and security solution architecture.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise security frameworks, best practices and principles.
- Strong knowledge of security assessment methodologies and delivering a security assessment service.
- Expereince of developing security standards and patterns.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Good communication skills and ability to present technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of implementing enterprise security architecture solutions that adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to deliver new security services to meet evolving customer needs.
- Proven Experience using threat modelling and translating this into security requirements.
- Experience working in a regulated industry and strong with a strong governance framework ensuring the enterprise can meet its security accountabilities.
- SABSA, CISSP, CISM, GIAC or other security certifications are preferred.
