Anwyl Group was founded in 1930 as a joinery and woodworking contractor based in North Wales. Since then, we have expanded and now operate three divisions: Anwyl Homes, Anwyl Construction and Anwyl Land located in St David’s Park, Ewloe.

Scope: Apprentice Joiner will assist the workshop team and work towards gaining the necessary skills to manufacture all the aspects of joinery within our in house Workshop. These joinery items will be used on Anwyl sites within North Wales and the North West.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend Coleg Cambria (normally once a week) to Study the Technical and Practical aspects of Bench joinery and work towards achieving a relevant City & Guilds Architectural Joinery Qualification over a 3-4 year period.
- Assist and be open to learn all aspects of joinery;
- Learning to use specialist equipment and tools;
- Operate woodworking machines (under supervision until competency is gained);
- Ensure all safety precautions have been followed and all machinery is inspected prior to commencement of work;
- Follow Company’s health and safety procedures and regulations;
- Other duties including general workshop and yard housekeeping and Spraying.

**Experience**:

- Previous wood working experience desirable but not essential
- full training will be provided.

Knowledge:

- Previous wood working experience desirable but not essential
