Our client hasan exciting opportunity for a **Compliance Specialist** to join their high performing team in **London.** You will join them on a **full time, permanent basis**, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£40,000 - £45,000 per annum + excellent benefits (travel allowance, bonus scheme, pension, health insurance).**

The Company is the pioneering data centre colocation provider, an owner operator of Tier III data centres, connectivity and managed ICT solutions to over 2000 market leading corporations around the world. In the UK their Docklands data centre campus facilitatesthe majority of the London Internet Exchange’s (LINX) capacity, meaning that they support a huge proportion of all UK internet traffic, making their Docklands campus a globally important internet hub.

**The Compliance Specialist role overview**:
This position covers compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, and new ISO standards which may be beneficial to the company.

Ensure business units have effective framework of controls, policies and compliance processes to protect against identified risk.

**Key tasks of theirCompliance Specialist include**:
You will be responsible for managing externally appointed auditors and for the maintenance of different standards for our client and be responsible for the adherence to and continued certification of the following standards:

- ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
- PCI-DSS Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
- 22301 ISO 22301 Business Continuity
- GDPR and Data Protection Laws

You will also be responsible for:

- Implementing compliance initiatives, identify and assess corporate risk, investigate customer and corporate incidents, monitor continuous improvement, recommend effective controls and processes, and integrate specific compliance objectives within businessunits. Influence senior management in identifying compliance risks and provide appropriate commercial solutions.
- Monitoring industry, regulatory and corporating developments in order to identify areas of vulnerability and risk. Develop and implement corrective/preventative action plans for the resolution of compliance issues and provide guidance and coaching on howto avoid future incidents.
- Communicating the compliance programme to all employees. Prepare and deliver presentations to executives, managers and other interested parties reporting on status of compliance initiatives.
- Creating a defined process that allows for the evaluation, approval and adoption of all new compliance and certification activities to ensure clear ownership, documented processes, and proper controls.
- Assisting the Board in defining a Business Continuity Plan appropriate to the business.

**Essential requirements they’re looking for in theirCompliance Specialist**:

- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI DSS standards,
- Knowledge of requirements for process management and improvement (PDCA cycle)
- Experience of implementing robust BCP processes.
- Understanding of risk management and risk assessment techniques.
- Experience of working within matrix teams.
- Ability to prepare monthly and annual Board reports for each standard.
- Keeps abreast of regulatory changes and interpret domestic and international compliance, regulatory, and certification standards, etc.
