We are currently looking for Catering & Retail Assistants to join our fun and passionate team here at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm.

We are looking for individuals that can provide a warm welcome and friendly efficient service to all our visitors. If you have a flair for providing outstanding customer service, then we want to hear from you.

Previous experience is preferred; however, full training will be provided, all we ask for is a willingness to learn and a friendly, positive attitude.

**As a Catering & Retail Assistant, some of your duties / responsibilities will be**:

- Taking visitors orders and payments, operating the tills.
- Serving hot and cold food and drink to our visitors.
- Barista trained, as will be making a multitude of hot drinks in the food barn and catering outlets *Full training will be given*.
- Taking and making up ice-cream orders.
- Tidy and clean tables and visitor areas in the food barn and all catering outlets.
- Support the Senior Management to respond to customer demand and flows across the site.
- Assisting in the kitchen and front of house in food preparation.
- Working in our zoo gift shop as and when needed, serving visitors, operating the tills, stocking the shelves.

**About you**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- You will be a good team player with a flexible can-do attitude.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure.
- Food Hygiene and Allergen compliance - happy to follow protocols.
- Must be able to get to this rural location.

We are looking for individuals who will be available to work weekends (Saturday / Sunday) bank holidays and during school holidays. A typical shift could be 10.30am - 5pm.
