We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our client's expanding team in Huntingdon as a School Finance Officer. This role will assist the Trust Accountant in supporting, processing, and preparing accountingdata for the training organisations within the Trust. This is a dynamic role with responsibility for a variety of tasks from monthly supplier payments, payroll administration, and plenty more between.

**Description**

**The School Finance Officer will have oversight of the basic accountancy functions such as**:

- Contributing to the development and maintenance of financial systems and processes
- Production and analysis of figures for the accountants for departmental heads
- Auditing accounts
- Invoices
- Expenses claims
- Payroll

**Profile**
- Experience working in an administrative or accounting environment
- Have a working knowledge of accounts payable/receivable in conjunction with PSF or equivalent accounting software
- Possess the ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines effectively whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong system skills with confidence and experience in picking up new accountancy systems.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks Effective team working skills, including flexibility and adaptability.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to work to monthly deadlines.
- Awareness of and compliance with policies and procedures relating to child protection, safeguarding and safe working practices, equal opportunities, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection.
