**JOB TITLE** Head of Housekeeping

**REPORTING TO** Home Manager

**JOB PURPOSE** Responsible for providing a high standard of Cleanliness throughout the entire Home

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS**

- Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes
- Experience of leading a team
- Excellent time management skills

**About the role**
- To Supervise, guide and support the Housekeeping Team
- To correspond with management through regular updates with the Home Manager and to attend Head of Department meetings.
- Manage and complete the housekeeping rota and daily allocation of tasks ensuring all work is complete to the highest standards.
- To ensure that the Company regulations regarding hygiene, safety and cleanliness are complied with, in all tasks undertaken. To be the responsible person accountable for all infection control matters on site.
- To ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the site, at all times, in line with the cleaning schedule of the Home.
- To complete audits and reviews within the Housekeeping Department.
- To ensure that the stock levels for the Housekeeping Team are maintained through the ordering of stock and stock control.
- To assist in the new admissions process by ensuring the environment and the needs of the resident are met prior to admission.
- To be aware of all Company policies and procedures; in particular infection control.
- Promote safe working practice within the Home.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
