**Commodities Middle Office: Gas & Power (Physical & OTC) - excellent Bonus potential**

Martis Search is representing a global, West End based Commodities and Energy trading company to hire a Commodity Middle Office Analyst. The role reports into their Head of Commodity Trade Support.

The role sits within their London office and supports mainly Physical & OTC Gas & Power (Electricity) trading for all aspects of Middle Office/ Trade Support. They also trade some Oil and LNG, but a lot less than Gas and Power trading.

Our client is looking someone with a minimum of 1-year’s Commodity Middle Office experience gained within a reputable Commodity trading house, as well as an Investment Bank.

The role sits on the trading floor and offers an excellent split of x 2-days in the office and x 3-days working-from-home. Our client uses ENDUR Openlink as their main Middle Office trading booking system, so having experience using this system is highly desirable, but not mandatory. The department is also responsible for Regulatory Transaction Reporting (EMIR/ Mifid2/ ACER), so having any experience of these type of functions is also high advantageous.

Our client’s London office is currently going through a lot of change. There is a great need to automate manual processes and offer process improvement. This means that they are looking for someone who can “see the bigger picture” of what they are trying to achieve. Our client would love someone who has genuine drive to success and takes their Operations career seriously. If you work hard there, the earning potentially is very high and the chances of promotion to more senior responsibilities are on offer for you too.

The role is broad as encompasses:

- Commodity Trade Capture/ Trade query management.
- Trade Nominations/ Scheduling.
- Trade Exceptions Management.
- Broker Reconciliations.
- Regulatory Transaction Reporting (EMIR/ Mifid2)

**Salary**

Between £40 k pa - £60 k pa, dependent upon experience, plus good bonus, pension and other benefits too.
