**Job Title: Pharmacy Support Worker**

**Ward/Dept: Pharmacy**

**Trust: Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust**

**Location: Royal Berkshire Hospital, RG1 5AN**

**Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, 09:30-17:45**

**Pay rate: Day rate £12.45 per hour**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Supporting with the administration of inpatient and discharge prescriptions
- Daily stock takes under supervision of the Pharmacy Technician
- Supporting with reception cover for the inpatient dispensary service
- Assisting with safe storage of medicines and ensuring adequate stock is available.
- Picking and packing medicines ahead of ward distribution and supporting with distribution
- Assisting with deliveries of new stock and ensuring these are labelled and stored away correctly.
- NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services (evidence will need to be provided)
- Full-time availability
- Experience working in a dispensary and or stores/procurement environment (preferred)
- Customer service experience
- To be computer literate
- Strong organisational skills
